Default Code P0300 & P0300p

01 starting idling horribly and engine is noticeably shaking. After researching, seems this could be a number of things but most commonly the plugs/wires and o2 sensors. What has been you guys experience and fix for what I'm describing? Thanks for the help!

Before you start throwing parts at the car, have someone with the proper scanning equipment nail down which cylinder is actually misfiring. Then address that cylinder first, determining whether it's a major mechanical issue or just the need for maintenance.

A misfire can be as simple as a worn out spark plug, but as serious as a blown head gasket or cracked piston. If you find your misfiring cylinder and plugs/wires don't fix it, do a compression check.

BTW, it's extremely unlikely that an 02 sensor will ever cause a misfire. Your problem is either ignition, fuel, or mechanical related.

Good luck!
