Default Seat control module question

I think I already know the answer, but I want to consult the brain trust here on the forum. My driver's seat will only move forward and back and was also inflating and deflating the sides with out the switch being actuated. I think my module has gone belly up. But need a second opinion. Thanks.

It sounds to me like a switch problem as they are known to fail. I cannot say for sure without more information though.

The seat module would likely throw codes. In case you haven't already seen this here is a video on how to retrieve codes from the DIC. If you have any codes please post them.

The LUMBAR issues is separate from the seat movement. The lumbar pressure switch isn't seeing the correct set pressure (due to leaks) and continues to RUN. See if you can try to LOWER the bolster set pressure to zero and see if it quits running.

I would see if the Seat Multifunction SWITCH is your issue before you go module. Are the fuses good and the resettable breakers functioning. Do you have power to the module????

Hope this helps....

There is a relay panel under the seat, check the relays also.
