Default Need to know what part is for HVAC

I have a 1997 corvette. left side heater is not coming on, only cold air. I figured it was a blend door actuator. Pulled dash and it looks like there is a metal arm that extends up form a round cylinder to the blend door clip. It is broken. The metal arm hooks to the blend mechanism on the left side that causes the flap to the door to open and then extends down to a round cylinder that has a metal rod coming out of it vertically. it has broken at the top and no way to repair so it needs to be replaced. Does anyone know what this round cylinder is so I can secure to replace. I should have taken a pic but I did not. Thanks.

Default HVAC Part

Found a pic of it but do not know what it is. The metal arm is at the top of the rod where it broke.

Default Hvac

The part I am talking about is circled in red below. The metal arm on this part is broken where it bends and goes to the door spring. Any help is appreciated.
