Default GM Tech II Purchase, maybe!

I think I'm going to buy a clone GM Tech II to play around with. I want to use it on my 03 Vert.

Right I have a problem with the Active Handling and I pulled the codes this morning and it's a C1287H code which is a Steering Sensor Rate Malfunction. I looked it up and I think the first thing I'm going to do is go have the car aligned and see if that takes care of it. If not I will replace the sensor. Lots of diy and youtube stuff on it.

I have been thinking about the Tech II ever since I bought the vert about six months ago and now I can honestly tell my wife I need it.
By the way our 51st. anniversary was the Dec. 10th and she's in a pretty good mood because of the present I gave her. I need to jump all over this purchase while her mood lasts!

Would some of you guys help me pick the right Tech II? You guys are the best and I value your advice.

Thanks!

If you decide on replacing the SWPS, the part # is 88965543. They cost around $70 and can still be bought new for the '01 and newer cars.

I purchased one from Ali-Express. It did not have a carrying case. It was $279.00 shipped to my door via DHL. It has worked flawlessly for 2 years. I found a case for it that it fit in just fine for $25.00. It included the latest software and the TIS 2000 software for using with a laptop or desktop.

At the time they did not accept Paypal and had to use a credit card. I had to notify my CC company so that they would approve the transaction. Everything went well and had the item in about four days from order date.

OK thanks! I got a p/n 10436 from somewhere. I'll check both of them.
It's for an 03.

I saw the ones that Ali-Express had. They look to be the best so far.
I found one with a case for not much more.
Thanks!
