Default Best spark plugs/wires for 99 c5

Going to replace plugs and wires since idle/drive has some brief misses and no idea when/if it's been done before I got the car. Any other ideas welcome as well. Could be water in the tank, hasn't been driven much this past year, but heet didn't make any difference. Do you use single/quad tip spark plugs? Thanks guys.

OEM has been good for many, I'd just stick with OEM stock AC Delco 41-110 plugs. As for wires a new set of OEM stock # 88892763 is just fine for everyday use but a lot of guys go with the General Motors GMPP Red Performance Wires # 12495519

AC Delco Iridium 41-110 and the OEM Red Performance Wires is what I've always used. They are way better than MSD Wire and the other brands. Highly recommended!

I second that emotion. (As the song goes).
Exactly what I used on mine last summer.
Money well spent.

For plugs use either the AC Delco 41110 or Autolite XP5245, both are iridium. For plug wires I'd go with the MSD 8.5 as they are far better than OEM and still better than the GMPP which are also better than OEM. Here's a pic of the MSD wires.

Thanks as always for the input. I'll get those on order and ready for install.

I did those same MSDs. Really smoothed out the firing.

I would do NGK or AC Delco plugs. I run standard copper NGKs but I will change them out much quicker than most owners.

Copper NGK's here as well. I also run the LS7 wires because of the bend at the end that fits better with headers. Had MSD, hated them and went with the GM performance.

I will say I have the AC Delco Iridium replacement plug in my LQ4 2500HD as I don't plan on changing those plugs for a long time.

Have you checked your DIC to see what code or codes the misfiring is indicating? New plugs and wires won't hurt, but it is worth a double check to ensure nothing else is causing the misfire.
As an aside, I'm running NGK TR6 plugs and GMPP wires.
