Find an auto car and build a new motor -- you probably learned many a thing in the first build, and I'm betting would do things just a little different a second time through...

I'd buy an auto model, then swap motors. Biggest problem IMO; your Z06 is very devalued with an LS1...

I agree, cheaper to find an automatic car. Swap engines, sell the manual car.

It is highly unlikely that it would be cheaper to sell your car and buy an auto. Just the taxes alone would make that a bad decision.

There’s an almost complete auto swap package in the FS section right now for a very reasonable price. Get the trans rebuilt locally and buy a few other misc parts and you’ve got all you need.

Sell your manual setup. The Z trans goes for pretty good money.

If you really like your Z, I highly suggest doing the swap. If you’re leaning towards a targa or convertible, than obviously you’ll need to buy a different car...

Good luck.
