I have a 98 Corvette Convertible and the horn just started blowing while it was parked in the garage. The key was not in the vehicle and it hadn't been driven for several days. I finally had to remove the fuse to stop the noise. Each time I put the fuse back in it starts blowing again. I took it to a local shop and they said it was a bad Air Bag Module #9378281 which is no longer available. Will a bad Module cause the horn to honk? What do you recommend?

Take a look at the circuit. Check the horn relay, but it's probably the horn membrane.

The horn membrane can be cleaned using QD contact cleaner. Keep cleaning it until the dribbles run clean. I used a multi-meter to verify the membrane was open when unpressed and closed only when pressed. Been quiet over a year now. Only speaks when pressed.

Be sure to pull the battery cable and wait at least overnight before messing with air bags. You do have to take it off the car and all apart to get to the membrane.
