What year do you have, how many miles and are you starting with dead stock or do you have some bolt-on parts already?

The PO made 410 rwhp on a '99 FRC with this combo on the stock LS1 short block (until he broke a piston ring land at the track);

Callaway Honker CAI
LS6 MAF
ported LS6 throttle body
LS6 intake
stock 243/799 (non Z06) heads with .040 Cometic MLS head gasket
226/230 .598"/.608" 113+2 camshaft
fully upgraded valve train with trunion kit
LG Pro LT headers and X-pipe (ceramic coated)
Z06 Ti exhaust
160 degree thermostat
tuned for 93 octane

You would need to trim the ignition map a couple degrees to work with 91 octane.

A 100 whp gain is doable with a plan like posted above. You'll need a moderate-to-agressive cam, probably ported heads, and a stock or ported LS6 intake, along with headers and other supporting mods like those listed above. Expect to drop $6-8000 at a shop to get this done, depending on the parts and porting you choose.
