Default Pafdt / hpe diff mount. Vibration

Just installed 2 mounts. One in my car and one in buddies car.
Mine has some slight vibration around 2800-3500 rpm.
My buddies car had serious vibration.
We removed his and put the oem mount and the vibration dampner on.
Btw both mounts had no space under both outer feet. They were tight.

My main question is, how come you can't tun the vibration dampner on the side of the diff at the same time as the new mount?

Also I thought about running thin rubber where the mount bolts to diff and to the cradle where it is metal to metal.
Thanks Jason

try adding some of the thin spacers in between the orange horizontal bar and the rubber feet that contact the cradle to sandwich it in there... I used to have one on my car and it didn't make any vibration or noise that I noticed

Super easy.
Hardest part was fanangleing the long new mount around the brake lines and harness.
Picked up mine used, had to run to Lowe's for longer bolts and washers.

I have more noticeable vibration with this mount in mine, but I also did pfadt poly control arm bushings in the rear at the same time. A lot more road noise, but yeah, the vibration is only at a certain point in the rpms/speed.
