Also, I'm aware I did not use jack stands on the front.
I'm also aware I did not mask off the rotor. I chose not to. I've gotten a lot of crap for this. Some people say the paint can gum up your pads, and/or the paint effects the steel on the rotor. I personally did not have any issues.

nice video..that was alot of effort..you did put a wheel ramp under the front so that counts....
as for masking off the rotors, its not a bad idea but you didnt cause any harm to anything, and rattle can paint doesn't effect the steel on rotors thats just silly.
the rattle can paint on the rotor may momentarily cause braking issues until you have applied the brakes once or twice. the paint doesn't stand a chance of living a long life in the heat and compression of the brake pads especially with drilled and slotted rotors and gumming would instantly find its way in to the holes and slots and rusty hubs look like crap...my kids keep asking me when am i going to fix this

A pair of nice videos, Chris. Should be very useful to members wanting to do some brake work.

I did mine a little over a year ago and they look as good today as the day i painted them.

gentleman, did not explain fully. did not mean the hub area. meant to say the drilled and slot area. have been told & read not worth buying painted ones.

I guess Chris didn't feel like taping off that area like i did and went with painting everything knowing that the drilled/slotted area will wear away after the brakes were applied a few times.
