Default oil low message?

i got a low oil message yesterday while driving her a bit hard, now as soon as i got the message i stopped.. i checked the oil and all is well, still fresh looking and at the correct level. i let her sit for a few hours and checked again.. still at the correct level. started her up and drove around a bit and no message. is it a fluke or could i have something going wrong? oil temp stayed the same thru out the entire episode, 210-220..

thoughts?

oil level sensor could be going bad i guess, would be the 1st suspected culprit.

Just fixed my low oil level warning. Wires were damaged.

I thought the car was good now ??...I saw that you had some wiring issues there...look there before firing the parts cannon...”power and grounds first” !!

My car is hopefully good, was just reposting for the op to take a look at his wiring. Agreed with you, the op should start checking the two wires with a multimeter and go from there.

OK got my jacking pucks along with some nice weather.
I got the chance to get under my baby and looked at those wires pictured above, they do not appear to be bad at all. Look really good and clean actually. Since the message is no longer appearing in the DIC i am going to chalk it up to a fluke, but i will keep my eye on it to make sure everything is kosher.
