Default Rear shock mount on Vikings Crusader Coilovers

I got one side installed but I wanted to make sure I mounted the t bar the proper way. It appears to be offset so it would move the coilover to the front / back more depending on the direction.

Something does not look right. Looks like you mounted the fronts on the rears.

I don't think that's possible. The fronts look like:

Rears look like this:

The guide on SuperChevy says this following, which I assume means I installed it properly:

"Unlike the front shocks, the rears required the installation of T-bars. With one of the supplied snap rings already installed on the upper T-bar we slid the T-bar through the upper bearing mount and secured it with a second snap ring. We double-checked to make sure the snap rings were securely located in the grooves of the T-bar. The T-bar mount is unique to Viking. Chris King explained, “We feel it’s a better solution, as it allows for maximum shock travel, since an added bracket, as many other shock companies supply, actually results in a shorter shock to account for the lost height due to the bracket. In addition, the T-bar has an offset which moves the upper shock toward the center of the vehicle which allows for added spring clearance. The T-bar is also universal, so the end user doesn’t need to worry about a left- or right-hand specific part.”

That is correct, I have the same ones, those rubber bushing suck from Viking. I think they make poly haven't had a chance to get up with them

Thanks, looks like they can be only installed the way I have it done.

They're nice coilovers btw.

That is the correct direction to mount. Longer end pointing away towards the rear. This gives more clearance between coil spring and upper A-Arm.
