Hi,

I have a whining sound at anything above idle. Any ideas?

RECOMMENDATION:

Take off the serpentine belts (Main drive and AC Drive belts) and see if you have the same noise. That will eliminate a LOT of components and may also allow you to further pin point the source of the noise if it is still there.

Its simple to do and will NOT hurt anything.

Actually, with the clutch pedal to the floor, the throwout bearing is in play...
