Hello All,
Have a 98 c5 convertible.. I was just laying on the couch and all of a sudden my horn sounded off at a steady beeeep..
Turned the ignition to on to see if that would silence it and no go..
Had to disconnect the battery for the night.. Will check it out tomorrow...

I am thinking maybe the horn relay gone bad???
the prob could be in the steering wheel I guess or a short somewhere..
Just thinking of places to check any thoughts I would like to hear them...

Take a look at the circuit. Check the horn relay first, but it's usually the horn membrane.

I have the same problem. Its the membrane. Still haven't gotten around to fixing it...

Count me in on needing to replace my membrane. That air bag scares the bejesus out of me.
