Default Good cam without gears?

Hi all, got my first Corvette a couple of months ago, and man does it have some issues. Getting it sorted out though. My question is, is there a good cam on the market that will give a significant power increase with a rough idle that won't require gears? I have the 3.42s.

Something in the 22xIntake-23xExhaust range. I've had VRX4, BTR4 and TV2 with 3.42 gear. I like the TV2 with that gear and now even more with 4.10s

You may want to specify A4 or M6. Big difference on cam choices

Interested in this topic too. Looking at TSP's line up of cams and cam packages. Looking for something like red01terror; something friendly with 3.42 gears, preserve vacuum, and good street performance for NA application. Stock LS1 heads, CAI and long tubes as supporting mods. Willing to deal with rough idle if it means more power. Didn't mean to hijack your post red01terror, but I'm looking for something similar.

Sorry guys, I work 2nd shift. It is an M6 car. Thought I specified. No worries turabo87. We're trying to attain the same goal, except I'm specifically after a rough idle.

Cool. M6 car here too, on stock valvetrain and intake (for now). Thinking about it I wouldn’t mind a lopey idle too, just keeping vacuum would be nice to keep certain vehicle functions.

Best thing I can suggest for you is to have a cam spec'd for your application. There are a lot of really good shelf grinds but if you ask 10 people they will probably recommend 10 different cams.
