New B&B PRTs hitting rear sway bar
This week I installed my B&B PRT exhaust on the vette. Noticed a rattling noise, adjusted tips, tightened clamps etc. Finally found that the passenger side pipe is just barely touching the rear sway bar. Anyone experience this before? I've heard that if you loosen the connection to the mid pipe you can finagle it to a different position, is that right? I haven't tried that yet just because it doesn't seem like it would make a difference - I figured once its tight its always going to tighten down to the same position. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well I fooled around with it for an hour or so and still couldn't get things right. So I pulled both sides to do a little comparison.
Think I found the problem. Hopefully B&B will be cool about this and hook me up with a new passenger side muffler assembly.

They've already replied actually. I've sent them the pic i posted here as well as others. Still waiting for word back about how the situation will be handled. I imagine it might not be till morning.

I'm gonna have to say at this point its looking like I'm going to be waiting a while for this... I just called and was told everyone went to the SEMA show this week and then got an email from Billy saying he'd have to look at another PRT system when he gets back to the shop. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind this but with the amount of money I spent on this I expected better customer service. Not to mention the fact that I have to put the old exhaust back on the car if I want to drive it any time soon.

That's not cool... they should have someone there to keep customers happy. Or somehow figure it out remotely. Just my opinion.

Interesting, I didn't have issues with my PRT system and I love the sound of it, hopefully they sort it all out

I spoke with Bill on the phone today. He's going to email me a shipping label to send the passenger side back and then they'll set it up in their jig to see whats what. He did say he'd ordinarily just send out a replacement but since I got the speedway tips it would be faster to try to repair it (I guess they're not common so they don't have any on hand). I just had to be different, LOL.
I will continue to update this as it develops. Hopefully this won't take too long.
