Default Some Confusion on a oil pump O Ring

My understanding is that there are two sizes of O RIngs: A smaller 1st design part number 12557752 for corvettes and some F bodies, and a thicker 2nd design part number 12584922 for trucks. Rockauto, Amazon and Summit state that Fel Pro 72401 is the correct part for my 02 Corvette. I got one from Rock Auto, but it appears to be the thicker O Ring and states on the package it is a replacement for part number 12584922. Its color is red. The O Ring I put in back in 2005 is the black 1st design. Is Fel Pro 72401 the correct part. If not what is? Maybe it is the correct part and my old part is squished down.
Just noticed Rock Auto list an oil pump seal which is the Fel Pro 72401 and a oil pump pickup tube gasket which is a Mahle part.

After digging around, the FelPro 72401 is the fit for oil pickup tubes with a recess for the O Ring, the second design. Not our Corvettes. On the package it does not mention a 5.7L application. I am going to source the smaller O Ring. Some people did use the FelPro but mentioned a tight fit. I am not going to use it.

I started the original post one evening when I was ready to install the O Ring on my oil pump pickup. It was when I removed the old O Ring, that I noticed the difference in size, stopped and did some investigation. I decided the FelPro was the wrong part and threw it away. I ended up calling my dealer the next day when he opened. He fortunately had the 12557752 part in stock. Iit is blue in color. I am now happily driving my Vette with great oil pressure and a new harmonic balancer. If one searches the Summit site with the correct part number, it does pull up the correct part, but if one starts by entering the vehicle, it will state the FelPro part fits. Rock Auto does not recognize a 12557752 number. So be aware there are two O Ring parts, and our Corvettes require the smaller one. If buying,on line, I suggest searching on the GM part number,12557752, or go to the dealer.
