Default Simple blu-c5 Bluetooth

Has anyone installed this using the trunk cd changer? Website install instructions are confusing. Thanks.

Default blu-c5

I agree the instructions are a bit confusing, but the one I am going to order is blu-c5 I-simple, with the pxhgm2 harness.
This will connect to the cd changer in the trunk, which will be disconnected. You will have to run the "red" wire to an
accessory 12v connection.

Yeah. I really don’t seen the point of using the trunk connection of the radio still has to come out to install the red wire.

Check out the video tutorial on YouTube by Yellow Vette 04 titled "C5 Corvette Bluetooth".

He walks through the entire setup. Red wire was plugged into passenger kick panel fuse box using a connection jack he purchased on Amazon.

Can't find these anymore. Anyone have a lead on them? Seems like the easiest kit to add. The newer ones don't have the provision for the hands-free phone.

I believe you can still get a bluetooth kit for your C5 from here: https://www.discountcarstereo.com/. You'll have to decide on the options and configuration you want. According to their latest installation instructions and kit, the wiring harness has been revised where you no longer need to tap and connect to an accessory fuse to get power. I'm also considering on adding this BT option since I prefer to retain the factory look of the radio console.
