Default Turn Signals Work/Don't Work

My turn signals will work fine. Then without warning, they both stop working, and then several minutes later start working again. It happens to both the left and right signal, and they both either work at the same time or stop working at the same time. I was thinking maybe its the flasher unit or possibly some kind of relay. By the way, when they are working, they flash at normal speed. Any suggestions?

Good question. I think I tried the hazard switch one time when the signals went out and the hazard lights worked.

This happened on my 03 as well, but only seemed to happen on really cold mornings and after the car warmed up then seemed to work fine. Is that the case with yours?

9 times out of 10 this problem is caused by a faulty hazard switch. Actually more like 99 times out of 100. The best fix is with a hyperflash harness.

Agree on the Hazard switch. Also, the grounds for the turn signals are in the ground block on the left (drivers) frame rail. A common source of the crusty's
