What injectors to use, Stock,or upgraded???
Hi Everyone! I'm starting some performance mods on my 99 Convertible. Dorman ls6 intake, 1 7/8 long tube headers, CAI dual filter intake, and a BTR stage 2 camshaft kit. 90mm holly TB, with holly 5/8 fuel rails. Y pipe, with cat backs. With a power tune. My question is what size/lbs injectors to use, or will the stock injectors be ok??? Your experience, and input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

my stock ones were maxed at ~420rwhp, something like 42lb would be enough and probably give you some head room

Melting Slicks
When looking at injectors one item to keep in mind is most companies rate their injectors at 3 bar while GM uses 4bar of pressure. A 36lb injector at 3 bar will be very close to 42lb at 4 bar. Since we do not know your cam specs you should consult the builder as to what he recommends.

+1. Get 42lbs@58PSI and you will be good and some room for growth for about up to 500WHP or a bit more. Fuel Injector Connection is a great source for refabbed LS1 injectors resized and bench flow matched. I got mine from them and I'm very happy with my results.
