Default code of Po140

My scanner is showing numer 1 bank number 2 sensor showing no activity. All o2 sensors have been changed with AC Delco parts.I am on my 3rd ECM and this one is completely refurbished from I an up and up company.Right now I am trying to rule out anything wrong between the sensors and the injectors.Number one was dead when I bought the car.I changed the plug and now it reads fine.I am checking resistance on the injectors now.I am getting different readings to look for from different people. If I set the meter on 200 here is my readings.#1-14.6,#3-13.8.#5,13.8,#7,14.0, #2-14.7 #4 14.8 #6-144.7 #8 14.9.I have no idea what they are supposed to be and I don't know the allowance between high and low. While troubleshooting all this I ran into something I am not familiar with.Since I'm not sure if there is vaccum on the car I found coming out of the back of the throttle body there is I think a wire plugging into the EVAP cannister purge valve, then to the back of the engine to another valve. This one has 3 ports and tow of them have plugs hooked to them and the back port is open to the atmosphere.I assume this all releases fuel pressure as needed maybe.Any words of wisdom on my ole PO140 would sure help.Southsidejohnny51.1998 vette

Hey Southside !!!...if you're in the Asbury Park area bring your car by and I'll look at it for you...then we can get some brewski's at the Stone Pony !!...LOL !!...OK, now is your scanner a "code reader" or one that can read O2 sensor voltages ??...you would need this to troubleshoot the wiring and O2 heater circuit before you can call an O2 sensor bad. I can guide you through that....pretty easy...a 12 volt test light and multimeter would suffice...As far as out of limit injectors my 2001 are supposed to ohm out between 11-14 ohms....3 ohms is the limit from lowest to highest...a few are out of limits by a little...your #6 is WAY out of limits...does your scan tool show a P0174 or any misfires like a P030X ??...that is what you might be getting with that bad #6 injector. What issues were you having that you're on your 3rd PCM ???...can you take a picture of your question with the Evap ??...nothing is opened to vacuum or you'd be throwing an EVAP code...nothing "releases" fuel pressure if you literally mean it that way. The EVAP system controls fuel vapor !!

Being you changed O2 sensors and P0140 did not go away. Drivers side cat is suspect or Sensor wiring. I guess remotely you got a bad O2 sensor. Swap them left to right. See if code follows sensor.

If injector #6 is really reading 144 ohms it's time to replace it. I would check it again and if it's still out replace it before you do any more troubleshooting or parts replacement.
