My 1999 convertible won't start. The dash lights up but when I turn it to start nothing. It was starting and running an hour earlier. Here are the codes:

Is this a “start and stall” or “no start” right now ??...I see a serial data line malfunction code on the RFA module (RCDLR) which if the serial data line (a single wire which allows all 12 modules to communicate with one another) has either 12 volts or a ground on it will not allow the car to start and creates all kinds of havoc...without a good ground on the module for instance Mr. Power wants “to get home” which is through ground..without it he’s jumping on the serial data line express train...LOL !!... with key ON does the fuel gauge go to empty, water temp gauge maxes out and power windows don’t work and all the DIC warnings scroll through ??...the funny thing is I see you have RFA “no comms” and an HVAC DTC...the HVAC control module and that RFA module (RCDLR) BOTH receive power from the HVACCON fuse #27...I wonder if that fuse is blown ?????
...just a SWAG !!...also you can just approach this as a simple “NO START” condition if that is what you have...possibly just low voltage to those 2 modules during cranking ??
also, the TPM DTC is associated with the RCDLR !!
I went out to troubleshoot the old girl (She's got 275K miles on her). I was checking the Fuse 27 and it was fine. I checked the rest just for SnG's. Then I went back and tried to start and she started right up. I remember that the windows did work but as to the rest of your questions, I wasn't able to check before it fixed itself. Here's what I think happened:
My car is parked outside until my garage is completed. I fell getting out of the car and messed up my hip really back a while back and didn't put the cover back on her. The top has a leak at the top of the drivers window. The little seal there is almost $200 so I have been putting off replacing it. Water got in and mildewed everything. I was finally able to get into her and cleaned the mildew up with some foam crap that my daughter gave me. I figure either the moisture or the cleaner must have shorted a switch or button somewhere. I have read that is generally the cause of this problem.
Now to fix that HVAC code. Hot air blowing out is not comfortable in this weather. For now, top down baby!...
Now is it a "start and stall" ??...seems like it wants to start ??...with key ON is fuel gauge pegged on "E" and water temp maxed out ??... are you getting all the DIC warning messages...REP, low fuel etc...??...do the power windows work ??...for those who know...I'm seeing Seat Control Module !!
It doesn't try to start. Fuel gauge shows 2/3. Oil pressure shows 135 PSI. Water temp is fine. Getting all the DIC warning messages. The power windows work. It could be the Seat Control Module. The floor is awfully wet. Can I just unplug the seat module or would that create other problems?
FIRST off let's be very clear here...is it "cranking" and not starting or the starter isn't turning over the engine at all ??...Normally if you get power or ground on the serial data line you'll see the things I had mentioned but since you aren't seeing that (except for the DIC messages) I may want to look elsewhere...just turn the key ON and see if the fuel pump primes for 2 seconds...can you pull a plug wire off a coil pack and see if you have spark...hold the end of the plug wire close to a ground (engine block) and check while cranking...if good let's now see if you have fuel delivery...if you have Brake Kleen spray it into a vacuum line and try to start the car...if it runs or tries to run we have a fuel delivery issue...post results !!...if you are not getting spark or injector pulse (another check to do) it may be a crank sensor....usually with a crank sensor you will not get spark and also if you look at the Tach while cranking the Tach does not move !!...now getting back to the serial data line you can either unplug the connectors from the seat control module under the drivers seat and see if it starts OR find the 2 splice packs (Star Connectors pictured and shown jumped from BCM to PCM
that are to the left of the BCM...pop the "comb" (gray bus bar...squeeze the ends of it to remove) off the one with 4 wires and try to start the car...if no start go to the other connector and pop the comb off that one... the car will not start unless you jumper the light and dark green wires together (PCM to BCM)...all the modules are isolated except those 2....now see if it starts...basically we'll go for spark/fuel OR serial data issues !!
If it's NOT cranking at all you DON'T have a serial data issue !!...everything above WON'T fix it !!...."My 1999 convertible won't start"...should have asked for more info !!
It would have to be the starter solenoid or something in the starting circuit like the clutch cutout switch, right? I need to get a book of diagrams for it, I think.

Here is the starting circuit for a 1999...you don't need a book !!
