The right rear pair of brake lights on my 2000 coupe won’t light up when the brakes are applied. The lights work for the turn signals and with the parking lights, but not the flashers.
The left side works fine..
any help would be appreciated
thanks
Another candidate to blame could be the hazard light switch. These are notorious. Plenty of threads on how they relate to non-functioning brake lights.

No, the hazard switch can not cause only half of the brake lights to work. The brake light signal passes through the hazard switch as a single wire in and out which means it can only cause an ALL OR NOTHING failure.

It's not terribly difficult. The turn signal switch part of the MFS takes the power wire in from the brake switch and the power wire in from the flasher. It switches those inputs to the correct output wires via a bunch of contacts, which gives the correct signal and brake light functions. The contacts for the signals on both sides and for the left rear brake lights are all OK. The contact for the right rear brake lights is bad.
The signals comes from minfuse 8 through the stopswitch . You may have a problem along current loop 19 to the rear stop lamps .
Check the voltage at the B output of the multiturn signal level
