Column Lock needs new update wiring harness?
Had my vette at the dealers for some work and they disconnected the battery and then when it was reconnected it would not let the car go anywhere. Was told it need an update on the Recall from years ago. I had the column lock plate removed back in about 2005 and I am not sure about the wire harness that goes under the drivers side dash. But, I was first told that I would have to pay for the new harness but after talking to the Service Manager I got it installed under warranty. Has anyone had this same problem? My vette is a 2004 base.

The dealer column lock fixes are worthless, there are hundreds of threads on this issue, money spent at a dealer is simply wasted
