Coils for LS3 Swap and Dwell Considerations
I had an LS3 built with a 24x reluctor for my C5Z. Keeping the stock computers. I need to buy coils as the old LS6 coils are gone. I will stay with OEM, but that still leaves a lot of options available. For a track car, what are folks using? The LS3 coils (D510C, 12611424) have the correct spacing for mounting. I believe the LS7 coils (D514A, 12573190) have the same mounting requirements as the LS3 coils, and are plug compatible with the LS3. Also the (357A, 12579355) wire harness is required for both sides as the LS3 coils are not plug compatible with the LS6 coils.
Redline will be in the 6,700 range.
All that said, which coils are better, if any? Other OEM suggestions welcome, not going aftermarket.
Are there any Dwell Table considerations that matter? If so, where does one obtain reliable dwell table information?

I know this is really old but did you ever figure anything out on this? I have some after market coils (Granatelli) and was never able to get the specs for them for HPTuners. I am interested in any changes to dwell time etc.
