belt squeal?
I had a squealing belt so I did the water test, which quieted it down for a while, then came back, so I changed the serpentine belt and it isn't any better. I can't really tell exactly where the squeal is coming from but it has something to do with the belt/pullies. What next? Tensioner? If so, should I just change the pully or the whole thing? Any way to tell if it's bad? It seems to have a little movement when I wiggle it with no belt attached. .

Thanks for the input. Last night I gave the idler pulley a shot of WD 40. That quieted it down so I'm thinking therein lies the problem. I am putting a new pulley in today. I will also cleen up the pulley grooves.
