C5 Z06 blog - track day modifications etc
I bought a 03 C5 Z06 in 2018. It has become mainly a track day toy, and as such I decided to modify it to my liking. Most other Corvette owners in Norway add chrome details and go cruising - I go racing!
As I like documenting my work and already had a Google G Suite subscription, a blog was up in short time: Link to blog
As a track day car, it has impressive performance right out of the box. Suspension and brakes are stock, except for lowering on stock bolts and Yokohama A048 tires on a set of impressively light 18/19 CCW classic wheels that followed the car. As the speed has increased, the only major issue is insufficient cooling of oil and water.
Some of the topics covered so far:
- Battery relocation
- Oil cooler installation
- Electric power steering
- Track day recordings
- Maintenance (Valve springs, seals, balancer etc)

As I have my own website (see sig), I checked out yours - very nice! It looks very organized, and quite informative. Great work!
One suggestion, as you proceed to add entries to the site, might consider some sort of TOC (Table of Contents)...as your work becomes more, it will be difficult for users to narrow down what they want to read, and what they want to skip..
