2002, I just cruise in the car with a little spirited driving. AC Delco or something else? Also do they come with the bolt or are they sold separately?
My shop only uses the ATI balancer. As mentioned, Summit is a good choice for “normal “ everyday
driving. (And cheaper too!)
The Summit balancer is SFI rated and tested to 12k+ rpm. I'm not a balancer expert, but seems like it should be good for more than just normal driving? A lot of people, including myself, run them for supercharged applications. A&A used to recommend them on posts here, so I figured it was good enough for anything I'd throw at it
Any power bond, summit SFI, or ATI will work great for a street car. I had a standard power bond for a year and installed a 10% under drive power bond SFI balancer when I did my heads and cam. Literally any one of those will be perfect for your car, whether you spend $80 or $400.

Can you explain what 10% under drive means?
will it take the stock size belts after this change?

the main drive pulley portion is 10% smaller than an oem size freeing up a couple of horsepower. I got a smoking deal on it otherwise I would have kept my powebond oem style balancer.

I just wanted to say thank you. This thread was really helpful, because I didn't want to replace what apparently is a bad factory part with a substandard replacement. ATI it is! I'll be crossing my fingers that the ATI lasts more than 19K (life of the factory pulley).

Admin: I understand this is a C5 thread.
Its probably the age and not the mileage that got it.
From what I hear the ATI is the best, and I think most expensive. Their's is 10%, not 25%, like ASP (which sometimes causes low charge probs). You're not going to gain much horsepower with it, but few. That's not the reason to run it however, it's because it's a true harmonic balancer, not just a pulley
And I’m about to go back and redo it over swapping the cam / timing ....lord the dreadful steering rack ....things I just should and could’ve did the 1st time.

I have used an ASP underdrive pulley for years. I believe ASP stands for Auto Specialties Products. Summit carrys them. I've had no issues with it, they're reasonably priced, and its been on for 10 years now. I have the 25% underdrive, but I also have a DeWitts radiator, and an Edelbrock water pump. I wouldn't recommend a 25% unless you increase your radiators capacity.

I agree, however, ATI also makes a "standard" diameter pulley, which is what I installed on my car.
