Failed the inspection because my check engine light isn't working. DIC indicates PCM P0650 C
2003 Z06 has been mostly sitting for a couple of months with the battery tender connected. I was getting the 'pull key' column lock problem off and on for a few months, so I finally got around to installing the LMC5 module last night. I had no problems. The only other thing I did was pull the air filter to check it.
I searched and found a few other posts that were older. I just wanted to find out if anyone else has had this issue after installing the LMC5 or if it's just a coincidence.
It may just be the MIL lamp burned out...does it illuminate with the key on ??...I helped a Forum member a while back with the same DTC...I commanded the MIL light on with my scan tool with no success...he changed the bulb and all was well...should not have anything to do with the LMC5 !!

QUOT
Thank you
Nope no light with key on. Guessing getting to the lamp is probably a PIA?
Also, can I use my OBD scanner to command the MIL light like you mentioned?

That would be great! I'd really appreciate it. If you do, I can send you money for shipping though PayPal or Venmo.
