Fuel Door Latch Assembly Replacement

I have a 2002 ZO6 and the catch that holds the fuel door closed has broken. I happen to have the complete catch/ solenoid assembly and want to replace the entire thing. I can reach my hand up to where it is mounted, but can't feel any kind of nuts holding the solenoid bracket in place. Does the bracket just press into place? Maybe it's on plastic posts?

Also, do I have to drop the driver rear fender well to reach everything, or can it be done from the interior?

Thanks for the information. Drawings look slightly different than the ZO6 interior appears to be. Yet another 30 minute job that will take 3 days it seems....

could be the Z06 is a little different, my fsm is for a 2002, but as you see it says hardtop, not Z06 so maybe they didn't change the pics from the fix roof coupe.
