Default Where does this rubber bumper go?

So I found this underneath my 02 the other day, and for the life of me I can not figure out where in the engine bay this belongs:

Any ideas?

It goes under the radiator cowl on the passenger side to protect the small return line at the top of the radiator......I believe.

Love the information on this site! Mine fell off last week and I could not for the life of me figure out where it came from.
Thanks again for the answer!

Finding that bumper laying on the ground is a rite of passage for being a C5 owner . It happened to me also and took awhile to figure out where it went.

We’re these bumpers on all C5 model years? I’m the original owner of my 2004 vert, and I don’t have that piece and I don’t remember ever seeing it. Maybe GM re-engineered the radiator piping lines along the way?
