Having read all the audio tech section and here, I want to make sure before I go further. I want to replace the factory radio with a Pioneer HU that I have already that was in a Camaro I once owned. Its a DEH-P77DH. An old school 1.5 DIN cd player with subwoofer RCA preouts.
My question is this:
I'm using all new speakers in the OEM locations. New wiring direct to the new speakers, not using the factory harness. Using a VetteNuts fiberglass corner sub enclosure with the JL Audio 10" subwoofer. With doing this and bypassing the Bose Sound Processor completely will I get computer trouble codes set?? If so, then what should I do??
I have a coupe. Do I need to work with the factory antenna module??
Thanks. The questions may be redundant. However the more I read the audio section the more confused i get on just these basic issues. I want to plan the installation right before I begin.
