I have the 5-point chromoly from Wolfe I love it. Great fit and finish. The black powdercoating was perfect. I wish I got a 20% discount, that's a great deal!

Does anyone have a picture of what the setup looks like when the 5th or 6th point is out? Is there a big pole hanging out of the floor or does it look ok? And how far out from the main hoop does the mounting point stick out? Just wondering if it looks funny with the 5th point out of the car? I want to get this bar but I will have the 5th point out of the car 95% of the time and dont want it to look lame. Does anyone know if they will put a diagonal brace in for you like the LGM unit? It looks really good with it. Thanks

Just a small stump is sticking up on the floor when the 5th point is out of the car. It's nowhere near where your feet would be and doesn't get in the way at all. The other mounting point sticks out less than a foot from the main hoop, and hasn't gotten in the way yet. I actually use it to help me climb out of the car. It doesn't look lame at all. My car is also driven 95% of the time with the side bar out of the car and I don't even notice it, it looks fine. I'm not sure about the cross brace, I'm sure they would do it if you asked though. :yesnod: These things can be customised for your preferences. I'll try to take some pics and post them tomorrow... if I wake up while it's still light out that is!!!

Thanks for the great reply Bill. I think that is the first reply ive ever got that hit every piont I asked, and it wasnt even my topic. Bill you get a big  And thanks for the pics. Does your seat go all the way back still? And recline all the way back?

You're welcome, glad I could help. The seat travel is reduced slightly, maybe by an inch or two. I'm 6ft2 and can still get the seat far enough back to be comfortable though, so I don't mind. The reclining doesn't seem to really be affected, but it may be just slightly, I'll have to see how far it'll go back, I haven't tried to fully recline it.

Billy,
Can you explain alittle about cutting the carpet? How does it look after the cage is complete? How will it look once the cage is removed?

The cut carpet looks great after the cage is installed. As long as the installer takes their time cutting around the bars, everything should look nice. Also, you're going to have a cut a hole in the driver's side floormat as well for the mount where the 5th point connects to. If you were to take the cage out, the holes in the floormat and rear carpet would probably look pretty bad. Some new carpet may be needed if you were to sell the car with the cage removed.
