99 oil pressure question

99 oil pressure question
Hello all, got a 99 with 55k miles, recently the oil pressure has been intermittently dropping to zero by the guage, about 8 moths ago I changed the sending unit as it was pegged which I know was common but now it will go to zero, shut the car off and restart and it's fine again.
Anyone experience this?

Most likely it is another failed sending unit.
This is why I did the relocation kit along with an analog gauge.
If and when this fails again, I pop the hood and see the truth at the gauge, then change the sender out in 5 minutes.

thanks, no noises and not driving till it is, can't imagine it's a pump being so intermittent, had it at a chevy dealership and it didn't happen, they said its functioning fine.
