No cigarette lighter power

After working fine for 20 years the lighter has no power. I don’t smoke but I use it to charge my cell phone. The power supply in the console works fine. I changed the fuse, still no power! Ideas?

I'd pull the console and check the connector that feeds the lighter to see if it has power.

Have you checked the cell phone power plug? Sometimes the metal button at the end may not extend far enough to touch the hot 'button' in the outlet center.

the power cord works in the console outlet and in my wife’s car. I plan to check for power at the fuse terminals. Thx

Now what?

I pulled the fuse and checked the prongs for power. Zero volts! I don’t know what else I can troubleshoot!

Perhaps this is a job for an ASE tech?

Duh!

That test was done wrong! I didn’t ground the black probe. Is there a ground near the fuse block?

Removing the radio bezel isn't difficult. Many posts and YT videos. After removing, check the harness for voltage and whether or not it was installed correctly. My lighter pigtail came off the lighter, and it wasn't installed correctly from the factory. Simple fix with some pliers. YMMV.....
