Self dimming mirrors
This may be a small problem compared to others. The wife's 04 z06 has dimming mirrors and the driver's side outside one stay's dimmed all the time, even when the function is turned off. I have no idea what to look for on something like this.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is probably the glass. Mine has the same problem. The replacement is pretty expensive and the possibility of breaking the new glass during installation has kept me from doing anything for many years. If I did anything I would replace it with the plain mirror glass for a lot less money.
