Battery Charge Voltage Range
I had a scare this week at a gas station where after pumping gas, my coupe would not start. It gave the "click, click, click" dead battery sound.
Turns out it was just a loose connection, but it made me notice the battery voltage readout on my DIC. It averages 13.2.
Yesterday I drove my Pace Car, and noticed it averages 14.2.
Same general conditions and same time of day (no lights).
Is this typical? What is the expected range for this? Is this an indicator that my battery is becoming weaker?

My DIC reads 13.1 to 13.2 normally. When my car sits for a period of time due to lousy Michigan winters, the reading is much higher around 13.7 due to recharging of the battery. The range your pace car DIC is in sounds like the battery is dying.

Had the Delco AGM in mine for about a year and a half or so and my voltage runs from 13.5 to 14.2, depending on the usual things like, A/C on or off, idle rpm's/highway rpm's, lights/no lights, etc. Most of the time it stays at 13.8. Yours doesn't sound like you need to worry too much. Just continue to monitor things.
