Car is giving me reduced engine prompts and fuel gage drops to zero. I know its the driver door panel wiring because the window functions glow on and off when i wiggle it around. Ive usually just wiggled it till it stayed on but now its not recieving power and im stuck in reduced engine mode. I took the door panel off thinking i can get a better look at the wires but i cant. You have to pull the rubber accordion back, the problematic electrical connections are in the connectors which are located closer to the car body. There are two connectors one is for the speakers and the other is for the door controls. You will have to use a dental type pick or small screw driver to bend the connector contacts so they make better contact.

I have to check mine as well because my driver's door lock no longer locks when I press the button or when I engage the fob. The windows and passenger door lock works (when pressing the driver's side) so I need to start my troubleshooting with the electrical connectors. However, I'm surprised that the wires connecting to either the door windows/locks and the speakers could cause errors with the fuel gauge and reduced engine power that the OP is experiencing.

I only mentioned the speaker connectors to point out that there are two separate wiring harness. The bad electrical connections in the the the door control connectors will cause a lack of 12v or ground for the door control module. When the door module lacks 12v or ground it will cause the cars seriel data buss to crash and the various car modules to lose communication with each other.

Thanks. In my case, if all of the other functions work on my driver’s door; both windows, passenger door lock, memory adjustments, lights, could it still be the pin connectors? Only thing that doesn’t work is the driver door lock and it still makes a sound when I try to lock it.
