Default Changing the front directional bulb...

Hi everyone! My first post on this board... I have been lurking too long... and my car has been so trouble free that I have not had to ask any questions before (2000 vert with 23k). But anyways... I am too lazy to read my manual does the directional cover on the front fascia pop off or do you have to reach behind the front fascia to get to the bulb? Thanks in advance!

welcome to the forum!
there are two ways to do this.
this will work if you have long skinny arms.
open hood. manually open headlight. remove bezel (3 screws).
adjust headlight opening for most comfortable arm positioning.
grab bulb, release catch, turn bulb and remove.
be patient and take your time.

Sounds like they must not be real "auto parts" stores if they don't stock that one. Hell, you could probably find that one at Wal-Mart!

Wallmart does NOT stock this bulb. It is hard to fine. I once bought it from a Chevy dealer, cost $10 ! You can use a 3057NA amber bulb, it will fit and looks the same. Get a long life bulb if possible.

I replace from bottom, jack up front wheel/frame at side, remove 5 screws from panel underneath, replace bulb. It's a PITA !

Just push the front brake duct in and down, then you can reach in and change the bulb......takes 5 minutes. :yesnod:

I have found that it is fairly easy to locate. You can use a 3057NA, 3157NA or I believe the 4157KNA now supersedes those two.
