Default Traction Control Problem, please help

So I was driving on the freeway for about 10 mins or so and then turned on cruise control going about 70. Almost instantly the traction control light came on and a reduced engine power message came up. Luckily it was around midnight so nobody was on the road. I coasted to the shoulder, shut off the car. When I turned it back on everything seemed fine, but the check engine light was on. I drove home, tried using cruise control again, and there was no problem. What the heck should I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

See what trouble codes you have.
