Can the airbag on/off switch from newer C5s be retrofitted onto pre-2000 cars?
Haven't had any luck sourcing the airbag switch retrofit kit that GM offered way back when. Heck I can't even find the Pro-Gard / AOI Electrical switch (part AOI0022) anywhere. Can the keyed switch assembly and wiring harnesses off an 00-01+ with the factory switch be easily retrofitted onto an older Vette? If so, what parts are needed?
I already replaced the passenger side seatbelt with a newer one that doesn't have the breakaway loop.
