I used the T tap type connector, if it's moving the tac needle at all I'd figure that's probably the right wire? Did you try it for ***** and giggles to see if your light works?

Pro tip: using a test light will NOT STROBE the probe bulb. But it will drop the RPM needle to 0 when you find the correct wire.


Unless I'm the only idiot who didn't know this.

Here is the connector

A17 pin (last one) is the tach signal

Here’s the harness loose

I marked the wire, cut it, and spliced in another wire that I can use to activate a switch (or shift light) at a desired rpm.
