Re: WCC Special Website Sale on Vararam Intake!!!!! (West Coast Corvette)
How prone are these to hydrolock issues?
My car NEVER sees rain, except for last weekend. Got caught in a frickin' tsunami of a flash flood driving back from Dallas.
35mph, wipers on high, can't see a bloody thing... Damn hurricane, I swear. For two hours...
So- has anyone reported hydrolock issues with this intake? $385 is nice, but I can't risk it if I run into another one of those storms again...

Re: WCC Special Website Sale on Vararam Intake!!!!! (427CPE)
It was brought to my attention that this price was good but could be better. So, in this situation we will go ahead and listen to popular demand and lower the price to $350.00 + shipping.
I have these in stock ready to ship.
See link to order: http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/sho...ail.cfm?id=599
Thank you, Todd

How much is shipping charge to 28348? I was about to buy from another vendor, but your price may be a little better since thier price was higher with shipping included. Thanks

Re: WCC Special Website Sale on Vararam Intake!!!!! (jasonwood)
I'd like to know the same thing - what happens if caught driving in rain? Also, do factory fog lights have to be removed? Thanks, Jason
I just bought one of these and installed it last Saturday. Take a look a thread I posted about it at the link below. The instructions (you can see them on Vararam's web site) say to remove the fog lights for the install but I just loosened them so I could push the shrouds past them.
Read my post for a couple more tips on the install.
