I seriosly doubt the Z06 rotors will do much of anything for you. I believe they're basically the same as the stockers. The Z06 front pads are a bit more aggressive than the stockers. Be prepared for more dusting though. Might want to consider rear rotor upgrade (Baer Eradispeed +1's for example) too. That particular Baer rotor is about 14" in diameter.

there in no difference in the rotors or the pads...you may want to get some drilled and slotted oem sizes, they will help vent gas and dust better and go with hawk street on the oem calipers....that will serve you just a well as a 4k baer set up...lg motorsports has a nice wilwood package with pads for about a grand.... :reddevil

The only way you are going to get better stopping is by upgrading your tires. This is where the Z06 has the advantage. Tires are the limiting factor not the brakes.

It is true that tires are the most important part of stopping power, but upgrading your brakes will certainly help too. I dunno about the rotors, but the Z06 pads are different from stock coupe pads and will improve your stopping power. As stated above, they will dust considerably more. Doesn't bother me though, it washes off easy enough.
