Removed Hypertech III programmer, now car wont run.
I am having my car tuned with LS1 edit so I decided to return it to stock following the instructions. Now the car fires and instantly stalls. Can't make it run. Any ideas?

I encountered this same problem when I removed HPP3 fom my C5. There is a simple procedure you must do but I cannot remeber it off hand. I called the technical support line at the time and they walked me thru it. Give them a call and good luck.

Try pluging the hypertech back in and turn on the key and alow it to scroll to where it will ask you to press y to program or n then turn off key and remove cable. it worked for me,,, :smash:

Guys,
The problem is the security routine for the VATS..
Check for code..it will be the security key/pcm learn code..
Auto tap has a learn function to do it..or you can dump the PCM and turn it off with LS1 edit

Oddly enough, I went back out after posting this and it fired right up and runs fine.
