Kook's C5 Headers
Does anyone have a set of these on order? I saw where a 01 Z06 picked up 44rwhp and 25ftlbs from the headers. I've used their F-body stuff and it rocks, just wandering if any has any on order?

Kook headers are well known in Long Island NY. That was all we use for race cars. They do all custome made, but you will paid big $ for it. I have a custome set on my car right now for my big cubes. You will gain that kind of hp if you have big displayment, but not for bolt-on.

I ordered some of their 1 7/8" headers for a stroker motor.
I expect pretty good things from all Kooks headers. Also, they are very competitively priced with the headers being under $1000 and a complete system to the catbacks being under $1400.

I don't see 44rwhp but majority of the local fast f-bodies run Kooks. I'm curious on Kumars results and expecting great things.

Mike--I talked to Nick at Kooks and he said he would put together a set for 932 bucks but don't know that they will do any better for my application--Roger wanted short fat headers with a simple collector to simply dump exhaust--the longer tubes will improve torque but sometimes peter out on the high end, torque is something I will be able to spare some on on the low and mid as you well know from your car so we feel the short fat tubes will peak better for hp---
