I am currently running Pilot Sports front 265x35x18 and rear 295x35x18. They ride great, are quiet, and have excellent lateral traction. The problem is, they break traction in first, and second, all the way to third. They are a relatively hard compound so they last, but they are NOT sticky. I need something that will keep my cars azz on the street when I mash it. I also am considering only getting the rears and keeping the Pilots up front. The tires I am considering are the F1's. Any other suggestions? Experience? Thanks
BFG Gforce KD's are the stickiest, best handling street tire you will ever put on your car. They are around the same price as the Pilot Sports and have a decent tread life as long as you dont do huge burnouts on a daily basis. Some dont like their performance in the rain but I have never had an issue with that.
Even at my power level I have managed to squeak some 1.9 60foots out of them at the track.
The new Goodyear Gs D3's are bad azz's. They did some 0-60mph runs in the rain and the tire would not break lose.   :yesnod: :yesnod:

:iagree: According to the experts at Tirerack, the two best tires out there for a C5 are the Goodyear GS D3s and the Bridgestone S04s. They utilize the latest in material technology to give you superior handling and braking. The D3s are on my "to buy" list.
