Re: Here is how to disable the DRL (Pumba)
Thanks guys.
Pumba, sorry i have never heard of anybody doing this. The only way i could imagine is to locate the buzzer and disconnect him. Another way might be to find the responsible fuse. Before you pull the fuse you should be shure that nothing important is running with that fuse . . .
Sorry, cant give you more info about this.

To all that say they didn't get any codes from pulling the fuse, if you look under BCM in your DIC you will see them.
But, they will not light the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) so unless you go look, you will not know.

Mmhhh. . . strange. It works fine on my Computer (and on others too). The link should be: http://www.corvettec5.de/E/Gallery/main.html
but the link you posted worked fine as well . . .
I really have no idea what causes the problem.
Please let me know as soon as you get access to the side ! There are really some cool pics from Nashville, some german Corvette events, my Corvette and more.
Take care,
Jochen

Jochen; WOW... what a great write-up.
This procedure should be added to the Forum "tech tips" section!

Re: Here is how to disable the DRL (Jochen)
Excellant....a big thank you.
Side story...I just travel the central highway (# 5) through California and the DRL of Corvettes going the opposite direction made the vettes stand out in traffic so much I wanted to disconnect my DRLs. That is so my car would be more "stealthy".
Next step in this article (ideally for me) would be a dash mounted on/ off switch.
