Corsa Exhaust how much HP do you gain
Hi does anyone know how many ponies you gain from upgrading to a Corsa Exhaust with X pipe. I've check there web site but have been unable to get a straight answer. Thanks ;)

John Lingenfelter got 8 to 10rwhp out fo them with different cars.They helped me go from a 13.1- 1/4 mi to a 12.92- 1/4mi with exhaust & Vortex ram air. :cheers: :thumbs:

Yes, I've heard it is right around 8-10 rwhp, give or take a little.

That seems a little much to expect from a cat back. Imo, they are for better sound and stainless tips, not HP gain. Yes, they were one of my first mods, and I'm not sorry.

:iagree: I think we dyno'd 5 or 6rwhp on my car when it was H/C--when I tuned in the blower on top of it--I dropped the corsa's-bolted on a set of GHL's (first set on a car) and got 18 more rwhp and similar torque--you may want to think GHL's they grow with your setup and designed for perfomance cars and they sound a hell of a lot better--I wish they made a 3" system since I had to go to a 3" with my stroker--

They are louder! I am selling a pair of Corsa Indy Pros because of that fact.
I got no gains from installing the Corsas with x-pipe, actually lost some.

In answering this same question in another thread, I sent Corsa an email and asked the question.
Corsa says you can expect eight additional hp from their system.

discussed with West Coast, said Corsa Indy should give us 10-12, with the X pipe expect about 8-10 more.

If you are wanting to add horsepower to your car I would look into getting a different item. If you are wanting sound then get some aftermarket exhaust. I had corsa pace car with Daytona tips on my hardtop and loved them. Kaley
