Default 11 inch rims on the zo6

I,m sure if I looked back through this section I could find an answer to this question but I'll do this the easy way. Can anyone tell me if the 335 x 30 x 18 tire will fit on an 11 inch rim on the back of the zo6 without any cutting. And if so are there any dealers that sell such a rim that will match the '04 zo6 comm.. ed.. wheels. Thanks lads...

You might be able to do this but it would be safer to go with 12in rims. The 11in rimm will fit without cutting. Check CCWs the make great 18x 11

Thanks for the information . I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with ccw, what does that stand for . Yes, you are right a 12 inch rim would spread the tire better but cutting is out of the question. I actually ran the 335's on my Pantera and they were great at high speed. A lot of my friends run them at the silver state road races too and never experienced problems. Thankyou.

ccwheel.com. John is great to work with. I would not put 335's on an 11" wheel. I'm runng 335's on 11.5's with no tubbing. I would not use a narrower wheel than that for 335's. I'm running 285/30/18 on the front with a 10" rim. Handles like a slot car.

Check my sig pic to see what they look like.

Best,

yes but close. I have two sets of CCWs all are 11 1/2 rear. My street set has 335x 35 Mich Piloit Sports. There is some or was some rubbing. The track has 335x 30 hoosiers. Hoosiers are a wider profile wheel with rounded side walls vs the Piliot sports have a flat side wall. We had to put longer wheel lugs on and a 1/2 spacer to accomidate the hoosiers. The 335 hoosers have a 13.6 in profile with a curved sidewall( total 14 in ) and Mich Piliot Sports 335 have a 13.1 in profile and a flat sidewall ( total 13.25 in) Mini tubbing was high discuraged as it makes the car narrower vs the longer wheel lugs and spacer gives a sligly wider and stronger stance.

The off set is different on the two sets as well.

With a ZO6 you will have to remove your rear brake air ducts to make these wheels fit. See tech stuff on CCW web site
